Accepting TX LPC-Associates
When it is time to choose a supervisor, you need to choose one that fits your style and needs.
With me as a supervisor you will experience:
Virtual supervision across Texas, if you are within an hour of my location we can schedule to meet in person.
Expertise in CPTSD, traumas, first responders, and military.
Teamwork in conceptualizing and treating your people (clients).
Guidance in learning to identify, understand, and manage victims of CSA, individuals with personality disorders, and CPTSD through various approaches.
A sounding board with your ideas, thoughts, and analyzations of cases.
Being challenged in many ways to encourage growth, boundaries, self-confidence, and more.
Encouragement to research and analyze to obtain independence to licensing.
Someone you can talk to when you need help, stress management, or life management.
Gain confidence in self and abilities
Grow to become a confident therapist
Try to step out the comfort zone with mindset and approaches.
Be driven to learn multiple therapeutic approaches.
Have a goal to develop your style of therapy and your process to work with people.
Start to find your direction of what group(s) you want to focus on and where you want to be to help in the community.
Work hard at researching and analyzing sessions to identify things you can grow in.
Be able to work with others and accept feedback in order to grow.
Do not take things personally and maintain focus.
LPC-Associate meetings and fee

Group
Every other week there will be group meetings. Depending on the number of individuals in supervision, the most in a group will be 5. Group meetings will be 90 minutes.

Individual
Individual meetings will be every other week and will work with your schedule best I can. Individual meetings will be 60 minutes.

Supervision fee
Supervision is available on a weekly basis. Rates are $440 per month and includes individual and group supervision. I will work with Associates financially when necessary.
